I R Polytechnic

Our school, I R Polytechnic, is situated right in the middle of the Peenya Industrial Area. You can find us at No.195 on 12th Main Road in the 3rd Phase. Since we are in an industrial zone, there are a lot of factories and trucks moving around us all the time. It is a busy, working-class part of the city. The building is a functional one, built for technical training. We have workshops with tools and machines where the students spend most of their time. It’s not a very pretty place, but it’s where the real learning happens. We have various departments for different types of engineering. The instructors are people who like to get their hands dirty and show the students how things actually work. Sometimes it’s noisy because of the nearby workshops, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big lawn or anything like that. Just the main building and the lab spaces. Students come here from all over to get a diploma so they can find work in the factories nearby. We keep the schedules pretty tight. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. If you’re coming to see us, just follow the main road through the industrial estate. We are usually around during the day if anyone has questions about the courses. It’s a practical environment for people who want to learn a real trade.
