I Cast Metallurgical Laboratories

We’ve been here at No. 172 in the first phase of Ida Bommasandra for a while now. Most days are pretty much the same, with samples coming in and reports going out. It gets quite noisy when all the machines are running, but that's just how a metallurgical lab is. I Cast is where we spend most of our daylight hours looking at metal bits and checking properties. It's not a fancy place, just a workspace filled with equipment and people who know how to use it. We deal with all sorts of metal parts that companies send over. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a backlog. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see the desks and the lab benches. The ventilation can be a bit loud sometimes, but you get used to it after a week. Most of the staff here live nearby, so we’re all locals. We keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the testing we have to do. Bommasandra is a busy industrial spot, so there’s always trucks moving around outside. It can be hard to find a quiet moment, but we manage. If you’re looking for the lab, we’re right here in the first phase. We don't do much advertising; people just find us through the address. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. It isn't much to look at, but it’s where we do our thing.
