Finding Plot No. 491 can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to Phase IV in Peenya. We are tucked away at 5A. It’s a big area with lots of trucks moving around all day. HYTEK Marketing has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and take calls. Most of the time it’s pretty noisy outside because of the factories around us. We have a small team here. Everyone knows each other's names and what they’re supposed to be doing. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and we have to go down the road to get something. That's just how life is in an industrial area like this. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. It’s busy work, mostly coordinating stuff and making sure everything is moving. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches. It's just a bunch of people working. The phone rings a lot. Sometimes it’s a wrong number, sometimes it’s someone looking for a part or a price. We try to answer as fast as we can. It gets dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up. We’ve got some plants by the window that we try to keep alive. It’s a normal place, nothing more. We stay late some days when there's a lot to do.
