Kavery Dry Ice is down by the Bommanahalli Circle on Hosur Road. We are right beside the Pepsi agency, which is the easiest way for people to find the place. It's a busy area with trucks moving in and out all day long. Handling dry ice is a specific kind of job. We spend a lot of time around the storage units making sure everything stays cold. The fog from the ice is a common sight in the shop. It’s a bit of a chilly environment even when it’s hot outside. We mostly deal with people who need cooling for transport or events. The floor is usually a bit wet, and we wear heavy gloves most of the time to stay safe. It's not the kind of place where you sit down for a long chat because there is always something to load or unload. The noise from the traffic on Hosur Road is constant. We’ve been here next to the agency for a while now, so the locals know us. The work starts early because deliveries need to go out before the traffic gets really bad. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We have the blocks and the pellets, and we just weigh them out for whoever comes by. It’s a physical job, and we’re usually pretty tired by the time we close up. We just keep the supply moving every day and try to keep the inventory stocked up right.
