Hmt Chinar Watches Limited is located in the Hmt Csd Building right by the Hmt P.O. in Jalahali. It is a quiet area most days, and the building itself has been here for a very long time. We spend our hours at the workbenches dealing with watch parts and various tools. It is not the kind of place that has a big glass front or a fancy lobby. Instead, you will find desks covered in small gears and old ledgers. The fans hum on the ceiling and sometimes they rattle a bit. We get our mail from the post office just a short walk away. Our routine is simple and has not changed much over the years. We show up early and start on the pile of work that came in the day before. The light in the building is a little dim in the afternoons, but we have our desk lamps. Some of us have worked in this Jalahali office for decades, so we know every corner. It smells like oil and old paper in here, which is just how it is. We do not have a lot of visitors, but when someone stops by, we usually have to clear a chair for them.
