Hikal Ltd.

Our place is at 82/A in the Kiadb Industrial Area down in Jigani. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main part of the city, but it’s where all the industrial stuff happens in Anekal Taluk. Hikal Ltd. has a fairly large setup here. We’ve got different sections for different parts of the process. It’s mostly about chemicals and materials that go into other products. You’ll see a lot of people in lab coats or safety gear walking around. The shifts change throughout the day, so there’s always someone coming or going. The security gate is pretty busy in the mornings when the staff buses arrive. It’s not the most scenic place, just lots of metal pipes, storage tanks, and concrete buildings. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure the temperatures are right. It’s a lot of routine work, really. Keeping things steady is the main goal. The air smells a bit different out here because of all the factories nearby. We have a canteen where everyone grabs tea and talks about the weekend. It’s a big site, so you end up doing a lot of walking from one building to another. It’s just a regular industrial life for us. We focus on the production lines and making sure everything is handled the right way before it gets loaded onto the trucks. It isn't very glamorous, but it keeps us busy. Most people here have been doing this for a long time now.
