Mangalore Chemicals Fertilizers Limited

Our office is over on Crescent Road, right in the High Grounds area. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the city center, which is a nice change. Mangalore Chemicals Fertilizers Limited has been operating out of No. 5 for quite a while now. The building is older, with some character that you don't see in the new glass towers they build these days. We have some trees outside that provide a bit of shade during the hotter months. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace. We have desks piled with papers and some maps on the walls. We don’t have a receptionist in a uniform. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us walking by with a stack of files. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at the plants or the distributors across the region. It’s steady work. We don’t go in for much decoration. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and talk about the news during our breaks. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we stay on top of what needs to be done. We’ve been here long enough that we know the best places to grab lunch nearby. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s just where we come every morning to handle the business. We like the neighborhood quite a bit.
