Hi- Tech Baby Wear

Down in the 3Rd Phase of Bommasandra, right off the Hosur Main Road, is where we keep things going at Hi- Tech Baby Wear. It’s an industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. We make clothes for babies, which is a lot more work than people might think. You have to be careful with the fabrics because little kids have such sensitive skin. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure there aren't any loose bits that shouldn't be there. The machines run pretty much all day long to keep up with the demand. It’s not a glamorous job, and the workshop can get quite warm during the summer months, but we are a steady bunch. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time and know the routine by heart. We get the big trucks coming in to pick up boxes for the shops, and that keeps us on our toes. Hosur Main Road is always packed, so we have to plan our pickups carefully or everything gets delayed in traffic. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. We just focus on the manufacturing part and try to do it as well as we can every single day. It’s just a regular local business trying to make something useful for families.
