Sahara Pet Bottle Industry

Down in Hennur Horamau, things have changed a lot lately with all the new buildings coming up, but we are still here doing our thing with the plastic bottles. This is Sahara Pet Bottle Industry. It is a noisy place, I will tell you that much. The machines make a constant humming sound all day long, and the heat from the blow molding is no joke, especially in the summer months. We spend most of our time moving stacks of clear bottles around the yard. It is not glamorous work by any means. Our hands usually have a bit of grease on them from fixing the equipment. We started this because we saw a need for local supply, and it just grew from there. The guys working here have been with us for a long time, so we are more like a small group of friends than a big corporate team. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next batch to finish. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. It is a simple life and a simple business. We focus on making the bottles sturdy enough so they do not leak or crush too easily. If you are driving through Hennur, you might see our gate. It is usually open and there is usually a truck being loaded up with bags of empty bottles.
