Hema Book World

Hema Book World is a little shop located in the Sowbhagya Complex over in Rajajinagar 4th Block. We are right there on 10th Main Road, across from Ambika Hotel. If you're looking for the Ram Mandira, we are very close to that too. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because of all the stacks. We try to keep things organized but sometimes books just end up piled wherever there is space. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff, helping people find what they need for school or just something to read. The shop isn't fancy. We have shelves that go up to the ceiling and it smells like paper and ink in here. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when people are out shopping in the block. We've been here for a while now and we know most of the regulars who stop by after visiting the temple or grabbing a meal at the hotel across the street. Being at shop number 300/44 makes us easy to spot once you enter the complex. We don't have a big staff or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. Sometimes we have to dig through a pile to find a specific title, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. It’s a simple bookstore for the local neighborhood, nothing more, nothing less. We just enjoy being surrounded by books all day and talking to people about them.
