S. R. Polymer Bengaluru

Our workshop is at No. B-19 in the KSSIDC sheds over in Hebbagodi. It’s a bit of a drive out towards the industrial post area of the city. Being in the KSSIDC sheds means we are surrounded by all kinds of small factories and fabrication shops. S. R. Polymer is basically a one-room operation where we have our machines and our materials all in the same space. It’s very industrial and not meant for visitors who are looking for a fancy office. We have bags of polymer resin stacked up and the machines make a lot of noise when they are running. We spend most of our time monitoring the temperatures and making sure the molds are working correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and we often leave with dust on our clothes. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write nice things about us. We just focus on the products we are making and getting them delivered to the people who ordered them. The Hebbagodi area is always busy with workers and trucks, and we are just one part of that big machine. We start our day early to get ahead of the heat and the power cuts that sometimes happen. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We’ve been in shed B-19 for a while now and we know the routine of the industrial estate inside out. Most people around here just know us by the shed number.
