Health And Glow is located at No. 21/1/1 on Commercial Street. If you have ever been to Bangalore, you know Commercial Street is one of the most crowded places you can visit. Our store is right in the thick of it. It’s a narrow building like most of the ones on this street. We have shelves packed with all kinds of things like face washes, shampoos, lipsticks, and vitamins. It can get very cramped in here on Saturday afternoons when everyone is out shopping for clothes and jewelry. We have a few staff members who walk around and help people find what they need, though sometimes it’s hard to move when the aisles are full. The floor is just plain tile, and we have bright lights so you can see the colors of the makeup properly. We don't do any fancy marketing; we just open the doors and people come in because they need a new bottle of lotion or some hair dye. It’s a fast-paced environment. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves because things sell out quickly. The noise from the street—the shouting vendors and the honking bikes—never really stops until we close the shutters at night. It is just a busy shop in a busy part of town, serving whoever walks in from the sidewalk. There's always someone asking for a specific brand or a shade we just ran out of.
