We’ve been here at Grace Villa for a while now. It's a quiet spot in Bangalore. Being a contracting company means we deal with a lot of paperwork and site visits. My uncle started this, and now I’m handling most of the daily stuff. It gets busy, especially with the traffic around here, but we manage. We do building work. Some days are just spent on the phone trying to get materials delivered on time. It's not always easy. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule. That's just how it is in Karnataka. We have a small office, mostly just desks and some old files. People come by to talk about their projects. We listen and see if it’s something we can take on. Most of our guys have been with us for years. They know the drill. We aren't a huge firm, just local people trying to get jobs done right. If you walk past Grace Villa, you might see us drinking tea outside in the afternoon. It’s a decent place to work. We try to keep things simple and clear with everyone we deal with. No fancy stuff. Just hard work and getting the walls up. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Sometimes the internet goes slow when it’s cloudy, which is a bit of a pain. My desk is covered in old blueprints and half-finished cups of coffee. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate of Grace Villa. Most people find us because they know someone we worked for before.
