Harmony Architects

Harmony Architects is based at 1173 on the 23rd Main, over in Banashankari 2nd Stage. It’s near the 22nd A Cross, which is a fairly easy place to get to if you know the neighborhood. The office is a simple setup where we handle all the architectural work. We have a few long tables for looking at large blueprints and some standard computers for the technical drawings. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done, although the afternoon sun can get a bit bright through the windows. Most of our days are spent going back and forth between designing things and checking on how they’re actually being built. There’s usually a lot of paperwork involved with every project, and we spend a good chunk of time dealing with all that. We don’t have a big receptionist or anything like that; usually, someone just looks up from their desk when you walk in. It’s a practical environment. We have shelves full of folders from old projects and a cupboard where we keep all the site equipment like measuring tapes and levels. People from around Banashankari stop in to talk about renovations or new builds. We just listen to what they need and see how we can put it on paper. It’s steady work, and we like being in this part of town where things are growing. It keeps us on our toes and there is always plenty to do each morning.
