Hamsavardhan

Hamsavardhan is located at number 24 on Chikkadugodi Thavarekere Main Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’ve been here for a while now. Most days start pretty early, usually with a quick tea from the stall nearby before things get moving. Our shop isn't anything fancy or polished, just a regular spot where we get our work done. People drop by mostly because they know the name and they’ve seen us around the neighborhood over the years. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by, but that’s just part of being in this area. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays organized and the daily tasks get finished. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and talk for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple life really. We don’t try to be something we aren't. If you walk down the main road, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still hanging there. We keep the doors open even when it’s raining hard because the water usually drains away pretty fast from the front step. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, just trying to keep their businesses going. It's not a corporate office with air conditioning. It's just a room with some desks and our supplies. We know most of the people who walk past every day.
