We are located at Special Plot No 10 on the Third Main road in the 1st Stage of Peenya Industrial Estate. If you know Peenya, you know it’s a maze of small and large factories, and Hallite Sealing Solutions India Pvt Ltd is right in the thick of it. We work with seals and rubber components, the kind of things that go into engines and heavy machinery to stop leaks. It’s precision work, but the environment is definitely industrial. The air always smells a bit like burnt rubber and machine oil. Our workspace is filled with bins of different sized O-rings and gaskets. Some of them are tiny enough to lose on the floor, while others are pretty big. We have a few old machines that have been running for years and they have their own quirks you have to learn. The staff here mostly takes the bus into the estate, and we usually start work before the sun gets too high and makes the sheds too hot. It’s a practical place. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and some old safety posters that have started to curl at the edges. Lunch is usually spent sitting on the steps or in the small canteen area sharing food from home. We just focus on getting the orders packed and sent out to the customers who need them to keep their own machines running. It’s simple, steady work in a part of town that never really sleeps.
