Habitat Ventures has its home base at number 26 in Basavanagudi. If you know the area, you know it’s an older part of town with a lot of character. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our office is just a regular building on a street that gets a lot of shade from the big trees. It’s a quiet place to work most of the time. We don't have many employees, just a handful of us who have been working together for years. We spend our days coordinating different projects and making sure things are moving along as they should. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork. We don’t have a big glossy website or a PR team. Most people hear about us through friends or neighbors in Basavanagudi. We like it that way because it keeps things personal. The office is a bit cluttered with old files and samples, but it’s a working space. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep on top of the schedule. Being at number 26 has been good for us. It’s easy for us to get to different sites from here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just a steady one that stays busy. If you’re walking by, you might see us through the window just typing away or talking over a map. It's a simple life. We just try to do what needs doing.
