Dhanalaxmi Garments

Dhanalaxmi Garments is tucked away on the 1st Floor of building No. 3. We are located at 4 Cross on H. Siddaiah Road. This area is always buzzing with trade and people moving goods. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us. Once you are inside, you will see piles of fabric and several sewing machines lined up. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the hum of motors and the sound of scissors cutting through cloth. We’ve been here at H. Siddaiah Road for quite a while now. The street outside is narrow and usually packed with bikes and carts. We don't have a big storefront with mannequins. We mostly focus on the actual making of the garments. The light in the workshop is bright so we can see the stitching clearly. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs to keep our energy up. It’s a lot of manual work, checking every seam and making sure the buttons are on right. We aren't trying to be a famous fashion house. We are just a local garment business making clothes for the market. Some days are very long when we have big orders to finish. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make clothes. It’s a bit messy with thread all over the floor, but that’s just how a real workshop looks. We like being part of the 4 Cross community and the daily hustle here.
