We've been at H No Te 7/1 for a while now. It's in the Ukp Camp area of Bheemarayana Gudi. People usually just call it B. Gudi around here. Shahapur is the main town near us. The weather gets pretty hot in Gulbaraga. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we get our work done. Most of us live close by. We drink a lot of tea during the day. Sometimes the power goes out but we manage. We handle the local Gtl stuff from this spot. Roads are okay. It's a quiet area mostly. We know the neighbors. If you're looking for us, look for the camp entrance. It's a regular building with no big sign. We’ve seen the town grow a bit over the years. Not too fast, just steady. The UKP project nearby is a big part of why this area exists. We focus on our daily tasks and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a simple life here in the camp. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to file reports. Mostly we are out and about. Even when the wind kicks up the dust from the fields and makes everything a mess, we just wipe the desks and get back to work. There's a small shop down the road where we get snacks. Everyone knows everyone. It feels like home even though it's an office. We share stories and sometimes bring food from home. That's how it goes here in Shahapur. It's not a big city but we like it.
