Our lab is located at Griffith House, which is Site 34 in the KHB Colony. It's right off the Airport Bypass Road in Yelahanka. Being so close to the airport road means it's always busy outside with cars heading to catch flights. Inside the lab, it's a different story. We do a lot of testing and research here. It’s a quiet environment for the most part. We have a set of routines we follow every day. We aren't a huge multinational company, but we have the equipment we need to get the job done. The staff is a mix of people who have been here since we opened and some newer faces. We don't really do any advertising. Most of our work comes from long-term contracts and people who know our reputation. Yelahanka has grown so much lately; it used to feel like it was outside the city, but now it’s very connected. We spend our days wearing lab coats and looking at data. Sometimes experiments don't go as planned, and we have to start over. That’s just science. We have a small canteen where we all get tea in the afternoon. It’s a professional place but we keep things pretty down-to-earth among ourselves. We just focus on getting the results right and making sure all the paperwork is filed correctly at the end of each shift. It’s technical work but we enjoy the challenge.
