Green Land Hardware

We are located at number 15 on Narasimharaja Road. This is one of the busiest streets in the area, and it’s always a struggle with parking and traffic, but that’s just how it is here. Our shop is quite narrow but it goes back a long way. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with different kinds of hardware items. We have to use a ladder pretty often to reach the stuff on the top rows. It’s a bit dark inside because the building is old and doesn't have many windows, so we keep the lights on all day. Most of the people who come in are regulars who have been buying from us for years. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures. People just come in and ask for what they need, and we go find it for them. Sometimes we have to order things in if we don't have them in stock, which takes a few days. The front of the shop is usually crowded with boxes that just arrived. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get inside sometimes. We just focus on the daily tasks of checking stock and serving the people who walk in. It’s a simple operation, run by a few of us who have been here a long time. Our old cash register makes a loud noise every time it opens, but it still works perfectly fine.
