Green Garden Seeds & Nursery

We are located at 317 Jayanagar on Abdul Rehman Street, right near the Siddapuram Bus Stop. Being so close to the stop means there is always a crowd of people standing around outside waiting for their ride. Most of them peek in at the rows of green saplings and the bags of soil we keep stacked near the entrance. Green Garden Seeds & Nursery isn’t a huge place, but we try to keep a bit of everything that grows well around here. The floor is usually covered in a bit of damp mud and loose petals because there is always watering or repotting to do. We spend a lot of time out back checking the seedlings or making sure the sun isn’t hitting the ferns too hard. People come in asking why their roses aren’t blooming or what kind of seeds they should plant before the rains come. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the bus traffic outside. Sometimes a bird gets into the shop and we have to gently herd it back out toward the street. We’ve got local pots, some basic tools, and bags of compost that smell like the earth. It’s mostly just us keeping the plants alive and helping neighbors start their own little terrace gardens. The shelves are a bit disorganized, but we know where every packet of tomato and chili seeds is kept. We just do our thing every day.
