We are set up at No.131, 4th Cross in New Divanarapalya, right by Gokul Post. If you know the Mathikere area, we’re at Survey No 163/3/B on the ground floor. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot in Datta Nagar. The machines here are usually running all day, so it gets pretty loud and smells like ink and warm paper. We handle a lot of different jobs, from small flyers to bigger stacks of documents. People usually come in with their files on a thumb drive or send them over email. Sometimes the alignment on the old cutter is a bit finicky, so we have to watch it closely. It’s just a few of us working here. We spend a lot of time loading paper trays and clearing out jams when the humidity gets too high. The shop floor is always covered in little scraps of paper that we have to sweep up at the end of the shift. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to drop off their work and pick it up later. Mathikere is a busy part of town, so we get a good mix of students and small shop owners coming in. We don’t have a lot of space for people to sit and wait, so most just leave their stuff and come back when the ink is dry. We try to keep things moving as fast as the machines allow and stay on top of the orders.
