Grasim Industries Ltd, Bangalore

We are over in the Subramani Layout in Bangalore, specifically at House No 49 on the 3rd Cross. The building is called Aditya Nilaya, and we are in units 4 and 5. Nikhil V Vernekar is the name on the records here for this Grasim Industries Ltd office. It’s a typical Bangalore neighborhood, a bit tucked away but still busy. We have been working out of this space for some time now. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the tech parks. This is a real place with real people working hard. We handle the local side of the business, making sure everything runs like it should. Sometimes the traffic in the layout makes it hard for deliveries to get in, so we have to plan around that. The office inside is a bit cramped with all the samples and papers, but we know where everything is. We usually have the windows open to get a breeze, even if it’s a bit noisy from the street. We aren't into fancy marketing or big speeches. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Most of our day is spent on the computer or talking to contractors about their cement needs. We’ve grown fond of this little corner of Bangalore. It has its quirks, like the neighbor’s dog that barks at every truck, but it feels like home. We just do our bit and try to keep things simple and honest.
