This is right in the heart of the city. We are in Centre Point at 105 Residency Road. It is a well-known building. The entrance is near FM Cariappa Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy this intersection gets. We are right near the Nagarjuna Hotel, so the smell of biryani sometimes wafts over during the lunch hour. Our office is a busy spot. We have big windows that look out over the street. You can spend a lot of time just watching the people and cars go by if you are not careful. Inside, it is a bit cramped because we have so many files and samples lying around. We deal with habitats, so there is always stuff to look at. The desks are covered in sticky notes and old coffee mugs. It is a real office, not a showroom. We have a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. The team is a mix of old hands and younger folks. We do not do much in the way of formal meetings. Most things get decided over a desk or in the hallway. It is a fast-paced environment because of where we are located. People are always dropping in. It is a bit noisy, a bit cluttered, but it feels like the right place for us. We have been here for years and could not imagine being anywhere else. We just take it one day at a time.
