At Gokulani & Co, we operate out of a quiet spot at number 6, 1st Main Road in Kumara Park West. Compared to some of the busier parts of Bangalore, this area feels a bit more relaxed, though it’s still right in the city. The office is a simple setup on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in. We have been here for several years now, and the place has a bit of a lived-in feel. It’s not a sterile corporate environment. We have our files stacked up and our desks are usually covered in whatever we are working on at the moment. We are a small team, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have fancy job titles or a complex hierarchy. If something needs to be done, whoever is free just handles it. We spend our mornings going through mail and our afternoons meeting with folks or finishing up paperwork. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re busy, and before you know it, the day is over. We aren't trying to change the world or anything; we just want to provide a reliable service to the people who need us. We use everyday language and don’t try to sound smarter than we are. It’s just a regular office where real work happens every day. We like the neighborhood and the people who live and work around Kumara Park. It is a good place to be.
