Vijay Laxmi Industries

Vijay Laxmi Industries is located at B-174 in the Industrial Estate on Gokul Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic can get around here, especially with all the trucks moving in and out of the estate. It’s a loud area with the sound of machinery and metal clanging from the neighboring units. Our space is pretty big, which is good because we have some heavy equipment that takes up a lot of room. The floor is concrete and has a few stains from oil and years of use, but that's just how a factory looks. We don't have fancy office chairs; we mostly use the old wooden ones or just stand while we work. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of grease and metal. We start our shift early to beat some of the heat, though Bangalore weather is usually okay compared to other places. There is a small corner where we keep our lunch boxes and a water cooler that everyone uses. We don't do much marketing or anything; most people find us through word of mouth or because they have been coming to this estate for decades. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty every single day. We just try to make sure everything we produce is solid and leaves the shop on time. It is a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
