Our office for Gokaldas Images Pvt Ltd is located in Adarsh Complex, right opposite the Dharmaraja Temple on Pipe Line Road in Yesvantpura. If you know the area, you know it is always busy with the temple visitors and the local market nearby. Being at number 4 in the complex puts us right in the middle of everything. It is a noisy, lively place to work. We spend our days dealing with the garments and images, trying to keep track of all the different pieces. The office is pretty simple. We have some old desks, a few computers, and a lot of shelves filled with samples and records. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It is a working office. You can hear the temple bells sometimes, which is actually quite nice during a long afternoon. We get a lot of trucks and tempos passing by because of the industrial nature of Yesvantpura, so there is always a bit of a rumble in the background. We are a small team and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it is answering the phone or packing up a shipment. We do not use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. It is a straightforward way of working in a busy part of Bangalore, and we are quite used to the pace of this neighborhood.
