Our office and warehouse are over at No. 16 on 5Th Main Road, right in that Chikka Adugodi Thavarekere Main Road area. It’s an industrial sort of place. There’s always the faint smell of chemicals and adhesives hanging in the air, which we don't even notice anymore, though visitors usually do. The trucks come in and out all day, and the loading dock is almost always busy. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the drums are sealed right. It’s not a quiet office environment; you can always hear the sound of tape dispensers and heavy boxes being moved around. The floors are concrete and have some stains from over the years that won’t ever come out. Our desks are old-fashioned wooden ones piled high with invoices and delivery notes. We have a small crew, and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the work done. Lunch is usually a quick affair in the back room. The traffic on Thavarekere Main Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our big shipments out early. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just making sure the product gets to where it needs to go without leaking. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the rain floods the front gate, but we just put on boots and keep moving.
