Globe Eye Foundation

Globe Eye Foundation is situated out in Hoskote, along the Old Madras Road near the NH4 stretch. It’s a bit further out from the main Bangalore city center, in the Bangalore Rural area, but that makes it accessible for people coming in from the surrounding villages and towns. We are right in the Air Extension area. The building is practical and designed to handle the daily flow of people who come to see us about their vision. It’s often quite busy in the mornings. You’ll see families waiting together and people moving through the hallways. We’ve been part of the Hoskote landscape for a long time. The location on the highway means it’s easy for buses and cars to pull over. Inside, things are kept simple. We aren't big on decorations; we just focus on the equipment and the rooms where people get checked. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and the sound of trucks on NH4 is constant, but you get used to it. The staff here works hard to keep things moving. We see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a community-oriented place. We don’t try to be anything other than a reliable spot for eye care. It’s dusty and noisy outside, but inside we just try to help folks see a bit better. That’s been the routine here for years. It is a bit out of the way, but it is exactly where we need to be.
