Global Job Shop

Global Job Shop is right at the 16th Main signal in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. We’re on the second floor of the Akshay Complex. If you’re looking for us, we’re next to where the Old Udupi Garden Hotel used to be. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines coming through the windows. Our office is where people come when they’re looking for work or when companies need more staff. It’s a lot of phone calls, looking at resumes, and talking to people about their experience. The office isn’t anything fancy. We have some chairs for people to wait in and a few desks where the staff works. It can get a bit crowded when we have several interviews going on at once. We don't use any big recruitment software or complicated systems; we just talk to people and try to find a good fit. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just life in Bangalore. We see all kinds of people, from young graduates looking for their first job to more experienced folks. It’s a practical business. We aren't here to give big speeches; we just want to help people get into a job so they can move on with their day. It’s a steady flow of people from morning till evening, mostly just hard work.
