Our office is over on Palace Road, not far from the main junction. It is a quiet enough building compared to the rest of the busy street. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly general trading and supply. There are a few of us in the office, and the desks are always covered in folders and loose papers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things are moving from one place to another. It is not very exciting work, but it needs to get done. We have a small corner where we keep samples of the products we deal with. Sometimes we have to go out to meet people or check on a delivery at a warehouse nearby. The traffic on Palace Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up a bit early or stay late to avoid the worst of it. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and tea for everyone. Most of the day is just routine stuff, like filing invoices or talking to suppliers. We don't have many walk-in customers since we aren't a retail shop. It is mostly just business people we have known for years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the paperwork is in order for tomorrow.
