Glass Planet

We have got our shop at 26/3 on Hospital Road in Shivaji Nagar. It is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. We work with glass. You will see big sheets of it leaning against the walls when you walk in. Cutting glass is a tricky job, and you have to be careful not to get nicked. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and using the diamond cutters to get the right size for windows or table tops. The floor is usually covered in tiny bits of glass, so we have to wear thick shoes. It is not a fancy place at all. It is just a workspace with a counter and some storage racks. I have been doing this since I was a young man. My hands are a bit rough from the work, but I do not mind. Sometimes people bring in old wooden frames and ask us to fit new glass into them. We also do some mirror work when asked. We do not do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here on Hospital Road. It is an honest way to spend the day. When it rains, we have to move everything back from the front so the water does not get things messy. If you need a piece of glass for a project, you can just stop by and tell us the dimensions. We will cut it while you wait if we are not too backed up.
