Gk Glass & Plywoods

We’ve been over here on Dr Rajkumar Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot in Rajajinagar 2nd Block, right near the Ragavendra Mutt. Most mornings start with us moving around heavy sheets of plywood and making sure nothing gets chipped. Glass is tricky to handle, so we have to be careful when people come in asking for specific sizes. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the wood lying around, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with these kinds of materials. We see a lot of local folks stopping by after visiting the Mutt or just passing through the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets crowded in the small space we have at 627/98, especially when a big delivery arrives. We spend a lot of time measuring things out twice because nobody wants a piece of glass that doesn’t fit the frame. It’s mostly just us working through the orders and chatting with the regulars who live nearby. The traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a few years. We keep the doors open so people can see what we have in stock without making a fuss. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, just cutting wood and handling glass for whatever projects people are working on in their houses. There isn’t much to it other than showing up and getting the work done one piece at a time.
