Giri

We are located at 66 Chandra Layout, specifically on Nagdevi Street. It’s a bit of a crowded area with a lot of shops around us. Giri is just the name on the board outside. We handle a variety of things here, mostly stuff people need for their homes or small projects. The street is always full of people moving about, so there’s a lot of energy right outside the door. Inside, we’ve got shelves filled with all sorts of things. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend our days talking to customers who walk in from Nagdevi Street. Some of them have been coming to us for years. Chandra Layout is a good neighborhood, and we feel like we belong here. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory. It can get a bit hot in the summer months because the shop is quite packed. We keep a fan going and just get on with the work. Sometimes we’re unloading boxes or helping someone find a specific part they need. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a lot of standing and moving things around, but that’s just how it is here. It is just a normal, everyday shop.
