We set up our workspace here in Bangalore, specifically in Flat 202 at Prerana Residency. It is a bit of an unusual spot for a business like Gf Agie Charmilles, being in a residential-style building, but it suits us just fine for now. We deal with machines and technical parts, so the office is often filled with manuals and small components. Bangalore is a big tech hub, but we stay grounded in our little corner of the city. There isn't any corporate gloss here. Usually, someone is fixated on a technical drawing or talking to a client about a specific machine part. The traffic outside can be a headache, but inside it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the fans. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of employees in this specific office. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat when the AC isn't keeping up. People come to us when they need something specific for their workshops. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most of our work comes from people who already know who we are and where to find us. It’s practical work for practical people. We keep the files organized as best as we can, though things get messy during busy weeks. That is just life in a working office. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to talk shop with us.
