Genesis Logistics & Packers

The office for Genesis Logistics & Packers is on Anand Mahal Road, specifically at 119-B in Konena Agrahara. It is a busy place where there is always a roll of brown tape or a stack of cardboard boxes nearby. Moving people's things is what we do all day long. The room is often cluttered with packing materials and clipboards. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, which lets in all the noise from the street. People drop in to ask about prices or to see if we have enough crates for their furniture. We don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; it is mostly just notebooks and pens. Sometimes a truck gets stuck in the traffic on Anand Mahal Road, and we have to call the client to explain the delay. It is a very practical life. The guys who do the heavy lifting are usually out on the road, while a couple of us stay back to handle the phone calls and the paperwork. We don't have a big lobby with plush chairs. Usually, visitors just sit on a stool or a spare crate while they wait. It is a simple setup where we just try to get the packing done right so nothing breaks. It is tiring work, but it keeps us busy every single day until the sun sets.
