Gem Granites

Our place, Gem Granites, is located right in Benson Town, specifically on 4th Main Road in Chinnappa Garden. Bangalore has changed so much lately, but this little corner feels familiar. We deal with stone and granite all day long. It is heavy work and quite messy with all the dust, but that is what we do. You can see the slabs stacked up around the yard when you walk in. Most of the time, the noise of cutting stone fills the air. It’s not a quiet office job. We talk to contractors and builders who are looking for specific colors or textures for their projects. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get in, so we have to coordinate everything carefully. The staff here has been with us for years, and we just get on with the tasks. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. People know where we are because we've been at No. 11 for a long time. In the mornings, we have our tea and plan out which orders need to go out first. It gets busy, especially when a large shipment arrives. We just handle the granite, make sure it's cut right, and get it moved out. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us grounded in the neighborhood. We don't worry about being fancy; we just want the stone to be ready on time for the trucks.
