Our place is located in Jakkur at Hrc Ibbani. If you are driving around this part of Bangalore, you probably know how quiet it can get compared to the city center. We are right near the Vibhyor School, so mornings usually involve hearing the school buses pulling in and kids running around. It is a decent spot for a studio because it stays relatively calm during the day. Gautham Gopi Photography has been set up here for some time now, and we have gotten to know the security guards and some of the neighbors in the building. The office itself is where we sit and go through photos for hours. We have a couple of desks and some storage for our tripods and lights. It is not some big corporate headquarters, just a functional space where we get things done. Sometimes we walk over to the nearby shops for lunch or just to stretch our legs. Being in Jakkur means a bit of a commute for some, but the lack of constant honking makes it worth it. We mostly focus on our editing and checking our schedules here. It is a simple setup with good natural light coming through the windows in the afternoon. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the gear piles up when we are busy with multiple projects at once.
