Garden Blooms

Garden Blooms is tucked away in Hosur Layout, specifically at 21St Main 2Nd Cross 1St Sector 280/3. It’s a bit of a mouthful to tell people the address over the phone, so we usually just tell them to look for the house with the most green out front. Our setup is pretty simple. We use the ground floor of a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a business. There are plants everywhere—on the windowsills, in the hallway, and spilling out onto the pavement. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. We just have a lot of pots and some bags of compost piled up in the corner. The floor is usually a bit damp from watering everything in the morning. We’ve got a small table where we keep our tools and a notebook where we scribble down what needs to be done. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when the school bus passes by in the afternoon. People from the sector often stop by to ask about their own gardens or just to look at what’s blooming. We don’t have any marketing experts or a sales team. It’s just us and the plants. Some days are slow and we just prune things, and other days we’re busy moving heavy planters around. It’s a basic life at 280/3, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We usually sit out on the steps for a few minutes before closing up to enjoy the evening air.
