Garden Arts

We are right on Kamanahalli Main Road at 126/B. Most days our hands are covered in soil or we are cleaning up leaves. It’s a bit of a messy business, to be honest. We keep a lot of pots and tools around the shop. The traffic on the main road is constant, so there is always noise in the background while we work. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the plants. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoon, so we have to stay on top of the watering. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. People stop in because they see the greenery from the road. We spend a lot of time just making sure things don't wilt. It isn't always easy. Some plants are stubborn. We talk to the regulars who live nearby. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though the road is busy. We keep the shop open pretty late most days. There is always something to sweep or a shelf to move. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the things we use every day. It’s practical work. We like the smell of wet earth after we finish up for the evening. It’s a good way to spend the day. Garden Arts is just a small operation here at 126/B.
