Our business is located in Davanagere, a city known for its trade and textiles. We are set up at 794/8 in Sanjivini Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone pretty much knows what everyone else is doing. Our office is a simple one-room setup with a couple of chairs for visitors and a big wooden desk where we handle our daily business. We deal with various international trade matters, but we keep the local side of things very grounded. Davanagere is a comfortable place to work, though it can get quite dusty during the dry season. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and checking on orders that are coming in from other parts of the country or going abroad. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people who know how to get things moved from one place to another. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the ledgers to make sure the payments are sorted. We usually have a bit of a lunch break where we go to the local canteen for some dose, and then it’s back to work until late in the evening. We don't have any mission statements or fancy goals written on the walls. We just come in, do our work, and go home to our families.
