Gammon India Limited

Our place is at 2299, HAL 3rd Stage in Bangalore. It is a decent area to work in, though the traffic on the main road can be a real headache in the evenings. Gammon India Limited is involved in heavy civil construction. That means we spend our time thinking about concrete, reinforcement bars, and soil types. The office is a regular building with no big signs or flashy lights. Inside, it is mostly just desks piled high with site logs and technical drawings. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of those modern things. We just have a few rooms where we get the planning done. Most of the staff are out at the construction sites during the day, so the office can be a bit quiet until the evening. We drink a lot of coffee here to stay alert. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't really like that. We are just a group of people who know how to build stuff. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We focus on our projects and try to make sure everything is done right. It is not always easy and there are many long days, but that is just how the construction business is. We don't make any big promises, we just do the work and go home. That is about it.
