You can find G Venkalakshmi & Co at 1 Hanumanthnagar. It’s a quiet corner compared to the main roads, which I personally prefer. We have been in this spot for quite a while, and the office has that old-school feel to it. There’s a big wooden desk that’s been here since I started, and the shelves are packed with old ledgers and files that we don't really touch anymore. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us here handling the daily chores of the business. We get local people walking in just to ask for directions or to see if we have a moment to help them with some paperwork. Hanumanthnagar is a nice neighborhood where people still recognize each other on the street. I usually open up the shutters early in the morning and stay until the evening shadows get long. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy out front, just the name on the door so people know they’re in the right place. Sometimes we have a small radio playing in the background, mostly just for the news or some local songs. It’s a steady kind of life, and we aren't looking to change much. We just keep doing what we’ve always done right here at number one.
