G S Raghuram & Co is located on the second floor of 202/1 along Hemu Kalani Marg. If you know the Kalasipalyam area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We are quite close to Madhavnagar, so there is always a lot of activity on the roads below. Being on the second floor helps us stay a bit removed from the street level chaos, but you can still hear the buses and horns most of the afternoon. Our space is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks, a few filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a corner where we keep the newspapers. Most of the day is spent checking through records and making sure everything is in the right place. We don’t really go for anything modern or high-tech; the old ways of doing things seem to work fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or talk about what’s for lunch. It’s a small group of people working here, and everyone pretty much knows their job. We’ve lived with the dust of Kalasipalyam for a long time. It’s a practical place to be because everything is nearby. We just go about our business and try to get things done by the time the sun goes down. It’s a simple setup for a simple workday.
