G Pratap Kumar & Co

You can find us over at 461, 14th Cross in Lakkasandra. It’s a quiet enough street, mostly residential with a few businesses like ours tucked in between the houses. G Pratap Kumar & Co has been around for a while, and we’ve become part of the furniture in this neighborhood. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many ledgers and papers stacked up, but we know where everything is. Mostly. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a delivery person or a neighbor, but we don't mind the interruptions. We have a small table in the corner where we take our breaks. The fan wobbles a little when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the air moving. We aren't one of those high-tech firms with glass walls. We have regular brick walls and wooden doors that have seen better days. It’s a comfortable place to work though. We know the people at the local shops and they know us. Working at G Pratap Kumar & Co feels more like a daily routine with friends than a stiff corporate job. We handle our business, talk to our clients on the phone, and try to keep things organized. It’s simple, honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you walk past 14th Cross, you’ll probably see our small sign near the gate. That’s us and that's how we spend our time. We don't need fancy things to get through the work week here.
