If you know Gandhi Nagar, you know how the traffic gets on 1st Main Road. We are in the Brigade Majestic Complex, specifically in B Block, room 303. Most people find us by looking for the Tata Docomo store because we are right above it. It is a landmark that usually works for everyone coming in to see us. The building is one of those big complexes where you can get a bit lost if you do not look at the signs carefully. Inside our space, it is mostly just us working through the daily pile of accounts and records. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The office has that typical smell of old paper and printer ink. There is a lot of movement outside with the shops and the shoppers, but inside we just keep our heads down. It is a practical setup. No leather chairs or anything like that, just sturdy tables and some old computers that still work fine. We get the morning sun through the windows which makes it bright for a few hours. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby place. Sometimes it is quiet, but mostly there is the hum of the city. We handle a lot of the regular tax stuff and basic bookkeeping for people. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do here at G P Jain & Co.
