You can find G K Vale & Co right next to the KFC on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Sector-22B. We’ve been at this 28 Mahatma Gandhi Road location for quite some time. It is a familiar spot for many people who live around here. We aren't a massive operation with a lot of layers; it’s just us doing our thing every day. The shop is usually busy because of the location. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to grab lunch or run errands. We deal with photography and related stuff, which keeps us pretty occupied. Sometimes the line gets a bit long, and we have to ask people to wait a minute while we finish up with someone else. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed even when it’s hectic. We don’t have a big corporate manual on how to talk to people; we just talk like normal folks. The equipment takes up a fair amount of space, but we make it work. It’s a good feeling when someone comes in and leaves with exactly what they needed. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed put. Working in Sector-22B has its ups and downs, but we enjoy the rhythm of the place. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in.
