We are located at No. 1 and 2 inside the Corporation Complex on J C Road. We are right next to the BBMP parking lot, which is actually very helpful for people trying to find us in this busy area. J C Road is always packed tight with traffic and people, so it can get quite loud outside our door. G K Udyog, which some people also know as Geekay Tarpaulins & Polymers, is what we call our business. We have two separate units that we have joined together to make enough space. It is a lot of heavy material that we deal with every day, so the floor is usually filled with big rolls of polymer and heavy tarps. It smells a bit like plastic and rubber in here, but we have all grown used to it over time. The building is part of the old government complex, so it has that very traditional, old-school look. We have got some old wooden counters where we stand and talk to our customers. It is a very functional and practical space for us. We do not have any air conditioning at all, just the old ceiling fans that have been spinning there since the day we first moved in. It gets incredibly busy on J C Road, especially during the hot afternoons. We see all kinds of trucks and vehicles passing by our window. Our staff has been with us for a very long time. It is not a corporate office; it is more of a workshop and a store.
