We’re up on the 3rd floor of SNP Plaza, which is No 9 on the Old Madras Road. It’s right near Aroma Restaurant in Krishnarajapuram. Finding us is pretty easy once you’re in the area. The gym has a lot of natural light because we’re higher up. It’s a decent-sized space with a mix of cardio and strength equipment. We don’t have those high-tech screens on every machine, but everything functions well and gets the job done. The people who come here are mostly from the surrounding apartments and houses. It’s a friendly bunch, though most people just focus on their own routines. We’ve got enough plates and dumbbells so that you aren't usually waiting around. The floor is a bit scuffed from years of use, but we think it gives the place some character. We don't do those big marketing campaigns or flashy grand openings. We just opened the doors and stayed open for the locals. Sometimes the music is just the local radio, and other times it’s whatever a regular put on the speakers. It’s a relaxed environment. You don't have to worry about being judged if you're out of shape. We’re all just trying to stay healthy in our own way. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to lift some weight and get some cardio in, we’re right here in the heart of KR Puram.
